For Sale

 Chester

Off to the State Squad!

Chester was previously offered for lease, but we apologies as we could not follow up on many of the inquiries, due to my being in hospital.

Since then, he has been put back in work, and had a lot more training, and is "ready to go".  Chester is going to the State Squad's next day in August, at Werribee, and is therefore offered for sale under the following changed conditions:

Chester is a preliminary dressage horse, and a very valued and loved member of the family that we use for lessons for visitors.  He is safe, trustworthy, and very confidence-building.

Chester is a totally genuine, lovely horse that is available for a short trial & purchase.

This is through no fault of his own, due only to chronic illness of the owner and the need to reduce horse numbers.

Ridden here in the photo by Scholarship winner Liana from Tasmania, you can see his lovely flowing outline, and easy riding style.

He is simple to ride and trained to Prelim/Novice Dressage, and a little jumping.

Nick and I are getting old now, so we'd be like "grandparents", coming and enjoying watching you take Chessie to shows or pony club where we can sit and have a coffee and watch you have so much fun with him.

He is approximately 16hh and very loving.   He's not a total beginner's horse, he's probably too big for that, but he's totally genuine, and as you can see will come in the kitchen if you let him *smile*.

He's used to being turned out with other horses, and also happy alone, but loves the attention of a stable or shelter as well.

He's turned out at the moment, but polishes up so beautifully for the right, loving, owner.  His summer coat just GLEAMS!

You would have to ride him here at our Melbourne property several times to make sure you're the right "fit", and if all is OK, we'll see where you plan to keep him, and would be delighted to offer you free lessons to help out as well.

We are close to Melton, Vic.   $4,000 ono.

 Rebel Shae

Interschools Competition Experience.

Relaxed in the paddock

Trick Riding & Vaulting

Nick and I have had Shae for many many years, and just look at him ...doing trick riding with the kids, and standing in as the vaulting horse for our vaulters.

He would be just a wonderful pony club or smaller adult riding horse.  He works easily at Novice, and has done well at interschools comps.

He is a great Novice horse, working forward and on the bit, and has taught many people how to ride, and how to love horses.  He's great on the roads, and on trails, and we just open the gate and he RUNS to the truck and his dinner!

He is a loved and valued member of our family.

He will get your confidence back, yet show you how light and easy riding can really be.     He has many successful years to go.

$3,000 or near offer.  Vet check welcome.  Trial welcome.
