Dear Gymnastic or Sports Coach
I am writing to introduce to you you the Official World Cup Sport of Equestrian Vaulting.
And, specifically to the NON HORSE GYMNASTIC CLASS. Known as the “barrels” class – this is not on horseback, it is a straight gymnastic class performed on a stationary equestrian barrel, almost like a 44gallon drum with handles & very similar to the “horse” competition in Olympic Gymnastics.
This sport brings amazing opportunities:
§ Gymnasts find it easier than riders
§ Ideal for retiring older gymnasts
§ Vaulting Victoria is run by volunteers, and training is only $20 per session for non-members (free for disabled vaulters/riders).
It is such a fun & spectacular sport to watch, and I would like to personally invite you watch our Tuesday After-School Training
We welcome anyone to 'give it a go', and welcome injured, nervous or disabled riders.
Please help us spread the word to young gymnasts & build this amazing sport in Victoria.
